Donut lovers need community too

One of the Nebo Group partners, Scott, is a passionate fellow. He loves his Dunkin Donuts, Duracell Batteries and the Green Bay Packers. He’s also very passionate about his work.

Not so long ago his partner, Ryan, challenged him to create a Dunkin’ Donuts website. The challenge was accepted. And with a $9 investment and a little time DunkinDonutsTalk.com was created. The website is pretty light, humorous and is very pro-Dunkin’ Donuts. When Scott created the business blog he figured that he and the Nebo guys would be the only people to visit it; however, he found out he was totally wrong!

The site quickly gained popularity, going from 10-12 hits in the first few weeks to 100-200 a day in a very short time window. That’s not too bad for a business blog which does nothing other than present some news. Nebo Group then decided to take a real business approach to this and market it as a business blog. One this happened the site hits spike from 100-200 to over 5000 a day. The immediate buzz generated by the website produced some great PR for Nebo Group and for Dunkin’ Donuts.

The site now has a steady user base which checks the site often for content relevant to the donuts and coffee they love so deeply.
